This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit svira.ch or get in touch, for what purpose, and what your rights are. The site is designed to collect as little as possible: it uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking tools.
1.Who is responsible
Jelena Sucic — SVIRA
Via Dunant 1a, 6830 Chiasso, Switzerland
Email: jelena@sucic.ch
2.Applicable law
Personal data are processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For people located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies to the extent that it is applicable.
3.Visiting the site
The site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, with registered office and servers in Switzerland. As with any website, when you visit, the server automatically records some technical data: IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, browser and operating system, and referring site. These data are used only to keep the site running and secure, are not used to identify you or combined with other data, and are automatically deleted after a limited period. Legal basis under the GDPR: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4.No cookies, no tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels or content embedded from third-party platforms. Fonts and videos are also loaded directly from the site's own server.
5.The “Express interest” form
The “Express interest” button opens a form run on Google Forms, a Google service. The form asks for: your name, how you found SVIRA, the area of Ticino where you are based, whether you have experience with body-based practices, any motivations or expectations (optional), and your preferred contact method (Instagram, WhatsApp or email) with the corresponding contact details.
I use these data only to reply to you and organise the session. Legal basis under the GDPR: your request, i.e. pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)), and your consent for optional answers (Art. 6(1)(a)). The free-text field does not require any health information, so please don't include any. If you share it anyway, I will use it only to prepare the session with care and will not share it with anyone.
Responses are stored in my Google account and may be processed by Google on servers outside Switzerland, for example in the United States. Google's own privacy policy applies to its processing: policies.google.com/privacy. I keep responses for as long as needed to organise the session and for no more than 12 months after our last contact, then delete them.
6.Contact by email, Instagram or WhatsApp
If you write to me by email, by direct message on Instagram or on WhatsApp, I process the data you send (name, contact details, content of the message) only to reply to you and to organise a possible session. Instagram and WhatsApp are Meta services: for data passing through their platforms, the privacy policies of Instagram and WhatsApp apply.
7.Links to external sites
The site contains links to Instagram, Google Forms and sucic.ch. A link transmits no data until you click it; once on the external site, the privacy policy of whoever runs it applies.
8.Disclosure to third parties and abroad
Your data are not sold, not used for advertising and not passed on to anyone, except to the providers named above (Infomaniak, Google, Meta) to the extent necessary. When Google or Meta process data outside Switzerland or the EU, for example in the United States, they do so on the basis of the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses or recognised certification mechanisms.
9.Your rights
You can ask me at any time:
- which of your data I process (right of information and access);
- to correct or delete them;
- to restrict their processing or to object to it;
- to receive them in a commonly used format (portability);
- to withdraw a consent you gave, without affecting processing that took place before.
Just write to jelena@sucic.ch. If you believe your data are not being processed lawfully, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you are in the EU, the supervisory authority of your country.
10.Changes
I may update this policy if the site or the way I work changes. The version published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top, is the one in force.
